NEW HAVEN, Conn. – Andrew Kasparyan (Southborough, Mass.) of the Yale lightweight crew Class of 2026 has been named Academic All-Ivy League. The league announced the honor Wednesday.
 
Kasparyan has rowed in the first varsity boat for every race this spring, primarily in the three seat. He rowed in the 1V for the majority of the 2025 season, including at Sprints and IRAs. 
 
Kasparyan rowed in the 3V at Sprints in 2023 and 2024, helping the Bulldogs win gold and bronze, respectively, in those years.
 
An IRCA Scholar Athlete selection in 2024 and 2025, Kasparyan just earned a B.S. in statistics and data science with a certificate in energy studies from Yale. He was a member of the Yale Student Investment Group, serving as an investment analyst. He also was a member of the Yale Ultra Marathon Club and was treasurer of the Yale Barbecue Club. 
 
An alum of Noble and Greenough School, Kasparyan also rowed for Cambridge Boat Club.
