CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. – The Yale women's soccer team fell to No. 13 University of Virginia on Sunday afternoon in Charlottesville, Va. Sophia Bradley scored the game-winning goal in the 76

Isabel Willems was outstanding in net, stopping a penalty kick and recording a career-high nine saves.
With the win, Virginia improved to 4-0 this season. Yale dropped to 2-2 overall.
"It was a gritty defensive effort for our group today," said
Sarah Martinez, the Loring Family Head Coach of the Bulldogs. "I'm proud of the discipline and resilience we showed against a top team on the road in the heat. I'm disappointed to not steal a point, as I still feel confident in my challenge review on their final goal, but we have so much to build on from this game."
