New Haven, Conn. - With a time of 5:39.256, the
Yale varsity eight finished fourth at the IRA Championships, in a
tight race that saw four crews finish within just over three
seconds of winner Princeton. Navy and Harvard finished second and
third, respectively. Georgetown, Dartmouth and Penn finished fifth
through seventh.
Yale's lineup was Greg Hausheer, Noah McColl, Rich Littlehale,
William Zeng, Jeremy Hopkins, John Grunyk, Brendan McCook, Andrew
Hakanson, and coxswain Stephen Dobeck.
In addition to the varsity boat's fourth-place performance, the
varsity four won the petite finals, besting five heavyweight crews.
Penn finished second, followed by Syracuse, Temple, George
Washington, and Princeton.
The varsity four's lineup was Michael Jonas, Michael LeFevour,
Colin Corcoran, Adam Lukasiewicz, and coxswain Regina DeLuna.
