DERBY, Conn. – Yale lightweight crew has announced its schedule for the 2026 spring racing season.
The season begins on Mar. 28 at Overpeck Park in New Jersey, where the Bulldogs will face the United States Naval Academy for the Johnson and Van Amringe Cups as part of the National Collegiate Lightweight Invitational. Later in the day, the Elis will take on M.I.T. and Georgetown in a triangular meet with two Cups on the line: the Joy Cup (M.I.T.) and the Bulldog Cup (Georgetown).
On Apr. 11, the Bulldogs will host Columbia and Penn on the Housatonic River in Derby, Conn. The teams will be vying for the Dodge and Colgan Cups in the Bulldogs' only home regatta of the 2026 campaign.
Yale heads to Hanover to take on Dartmouth on Apr. 18 for the Durand Cup.
To round out the regular season, the Y150 will head to Cambridge to take on historic rivals Harvard and Princeton on Apr. 25 with the Goldthwait and Vogel Cups at stake.
The Eastern Sprints will take place May 17 on Lake Quinsigamond in Worcester, Mass. Finally, the IRA Championships take place on Lake Natoma in California May 29-31.
