NEW HAVEN, Conn. – The Bulldogs (12-0, 4-0 Ivy) defeated the No. 4 Princeton Tigers (6-2) by a 7-2 score on Saturday at the Brady Squash Center. This win continues Yale's undefeated streak, leaving the Bulldogs with only two more regular season matches between an undefeated league season and the Ivy League Title. The Bulldogs have yet to challenge No. 10 Brown or No. 1 Harvard, the defending Ivy League champions.
The Bulldogs, led by senior captain Logan Greer, have proven themselves as the team to beat this season with strong wins against top teams. Greer, ranked No. 3, defeated Princeton's Julie Cerullo, ranked No. 6, in three sets at the No. 1 position. Freshmen Millie Tomlinson and Kimberley Hay also won at the No. 3 and No. 4 positions, respectively. Junior Rhetta Nadas defeated Princeton's Katherine Giovinazzo in four. Senior Caroline Reigeluth pulled out a tough five-game win against Alexandra Sawin at No. 6. Freshman Gwendoline Tilghman won a three-game match against Princeton's Casey Cortes. Freshman Lillian Fast defeated Princeton's Caroline Feeley at No. 9 in four games.
Yale will host two matches this week: No. 11 Middlebury on Tuesday and No. 10 Brown on Saturday.
