NEW HAVEN, Conn. — Yale men's squash came back from a tough loss against No. 3 Harvard on Friday night to close out its regular season with a 7-2 win against No. 10 Dartmouth at the Brady Squash Center on Sunday.
The Bulldogs (10-4, 5-2 Ivy) swept the top five spots in the lineup. Dartmouth (5-7, 2-5 Ivy) challenged their hosts early on — taking two of the first three matches — but never really threatened to turn the match after that point as Yale earned a comfortable win.
The victory puts Yale in third place in the final Ivy League standings, behind champions Harvard and No. 4 Columbia — the two conference teams that bested Yale this year.
The Bulldogs will have an opportunity to improve on their regular season finish as they head to the CSA National Team Championships on Feb. 21. The tournament will be hosted by nearby Trinity, and will give the team a chance to avenge earlier losses and end the year on a high note.
