NEW HAVEN, Conn. — The Yale Bulldogs wrapped up a four-win weekend on Saturday at the Brady Squash Center with a pair of 9-0 victories over No. 15 Middlebury and No. 11 Williams. 

Yale (10-1, 3-0 Ivy) only dropped four individual games the entire day as the Bulldogs' skill proved too much for their NESCAC visitors. 

In the first match against Middlebury, Yale trotted out a lineup that included a few different faces, including junior Madeline Tomlinson and sophomore Ashley Suan, both of whom performed well as the Bulldogs coasted to victory. 

The second contest against Williams asked a bit more of the home squad, but the women again delivered. Senior Georgia Blatchford found herself facing the stiffest challenge, as a pair of 11-9 defeats put her in a 2-0 hole, but Blatchford controlled the next three sets to secure the result.

While the wins will please the Bulldogs, the players know a much tougher slate awaits next weekend, as they travel to face No. 2 Penn and No. 3 Princeton. Both matches will be crucial for Yale's Ivy League titles hopes, and the Bulldogs will have to produce top-notch performances — as they did on Friday against No. 4 Stanford — to better their hosts and remain in pole position in the conference race.
