Bulldogs Have Top Two Finishers At Head Of Housatonic

All Four Yale Crew Finish In Top 14

It was a strong start to the fall season for the Yale women's crew. Yale's varsity eight and second varsity eight finished first and second in the collegiate division at the Head of the Housatonic.

Yale's varsity eight posted a time of 13:35.9, and the second varsity eight had the second fastest time at 13:53.2.

Brown's varsity was third with a time of 13:57.0, and Radcliffe finished in 14:09.3 to place fourth.

Yale's third varsity placed fifth (14:13.8) and the fourth varsity was 14th in 14:41.9.

"We had fun running up the river," said Will Porter, The Friends of YWC Head Coach of the Bulldogs. "The team laid down some good speed. All four boats had some fun racing it up."

Next up for Yale is the Head of the Charles on Oct. 22 in Boston.
