PHILADELPHIA, Pa. - The Yale Men's Squash Team finished third at the Ivy League Scrimmage held at Penn this past weekend. The tournament was held at Penn to honor the opening of the new squash facility with 12 courts that were officially opened as part of the weekend.
Yale beat Dartmouth 6-3 in the first round. The third-seeded Yale Team played No. 2 Penn in the semi-finals and lost 7-2.
Yale beat Princeton 8-1 to finish third. Harvard beat Penn 5-4 to win the preseason event which is not counted on anyone's regular season record.
The team will go back to hard training for the regular season opener on Friday, Nov. 21 against Williams, followed by the Nov. 22 match against the University of Virginia at noon. Both take place at the Brady Squash Center.
