Five Bulldogs Earn All-Ivy Honors; Condie First Team Again

NEW HAVEN, Conn. – The Yale field hockey team had five student-athletes honored by the Ivy League Tuesday as the league announced its annual awards. Senior midfielder Bridget Condie (St. Louis, Mo.) earned first team All-Ivy League for the second season in a row. Three Bulldogs -- junior forward/midfielder Imogen Davies (Kilmacolm, Scotland), sophomore midfielder Théodora Dillman (Lancaster, Pa.), and junior goalkeeper Sydney Terroso (York, Pa.) -- were named second team All-Ivy. Junior forward/midfielder Olivia Levieux (Johannesburg, South Africa) was named honorable mention All-Ivy. This is the second season in a row five Bulldogs have earned All-Ivy honors.

Condie has now earned All-Ivy honors three times, as she was a second-team selection in her sophomore season in addition to being first team last year. This season she led Yale in goals and points (11-6-28, with career highs in all categories). She had four goals and three assists in Ivy League games, including the game-winner in the season finale vs. Brown this past Saturday.

Elected Yale's captain by her teammates, Condie capped a memorable career as part of a senior class that leaves with the most wins of any Yale class in five years (33). She ended the season on a roll, with eight goals and four assists in the final seven games.

A member of Pierson College, Condie is a graduate of Mary Institute and St. Louis Country Day School and played for AIM Field Hockey Club. She was a member of USA Field Hockey's U17 National Team in 2014-15.
This year Dillman built off her memorable first year, earning second team All-Ivy League honors for the second season in a row. She contributed both offensively and defensively, leading the team in defensive saves (three) and helping the Bulldogs hold four Ivy opponents to two goals or fewer. She had three goals and two assists this season, including an assist in the final Ivy game of the year -- a 4-1 win vs. Brown Saturday that gave the Bulldogs five wins in their last six games.

A member of Silliman College, Dillman is a graduate of Conestoga Valley and played for X-Calibur Field Hockey Club. She attended USA Field Hockey's Junior National Camp in 2017. Her mother, Anne Lehman Dillman, is a 1993 Yale graduate and earned All-Ivy honors four times (first team three times, honorable mention once).

Terroso has now earned All-Ivy honors three times, as she was a first-team selection in her first year and a second-team selection last year. This season, she posted a .758 save percentage in Ivy games while making 50 saves -- more than all but one goalie in the league. She had a 2.24 goals-against average in league play. Her season high in saves was 16 at Princeton.

Terroso also ranks among the NCAA leaders in overall save percentage (.739, 25th) and saves per game (5.82, 16th).

A member of Davenport College, Terroso is a graduate of Dallastown Area and played for Anne Lehman Dillman with Lanco Premier Field Hockey Club.

This is the third All-Ivy recognition for Davies, who has been a second-team pick twice and was honorable mention once. Yale's inserter on penalty corners, she had five assists in Ivy League games -- the third-best total in the league. Overall she led Yale in assists with 10, adding four goals for 18 points (third on the team). She is 14th in the NCAA in assists per game (0.59).

Back home in Scotland Davies was a U16 and U18 Selection at the District level from the age of 13 up to 17, and was captain at both age groups. Last summer she helped the Scottish U21 Team win the EuroHockey Junior Championship II in Alanya, Turkey. A member of Grace Hopper College at Yale, she is a graduate of St. Columba's.

This is the first All-Ivy honor for Levieux, who enjoyed a breakthrough campaign. She had five goals and 12 points in league games, tying for seventh in the league in both categories. Overall she finished second on the team in goals and points (8-3-19). She far surpassed her career highs in goals, assists and points -- coming into this season she had totaled four goals and an assist in 29 career games.

Levieux is a member of Berkeley College and a graduate of St Stithians Girls' College.

Yale has now had at least three All-Ivy League honorees in all 15 seasons with Pam Stuper as the team's Caroline Ruth Thompson '02 Head Coach of Field Hockey.

The All-Ivy League team is determined by a vote of the league's eight head coaches and is based on play in league games.
