Condie Named First Team All-Region Again

NEW HAVEN, Conn. – Senior midfielder Bridget Condie (St. Louis, Mo.) of the Yale field hockey team was named first team All-Mideast Region by the National Field Hockey Coaches Association on Monday. This is the second year in a row Condie has earned that honor.

Condie led Yale in goals and points (11-6-28, with career highs in all categories). Monday's honor was the latest in a series for her, as she earned first team All-Ivy League for the second season in a row earlier this month.

Elected Yale's captain by her teammates, Condie is part of a senior class that leaves with the most wins of any Yale class in five years (33). She ended the season on a roll, with eight goals and four assists in the final seven games -- including the game-winner in the season finale.

Condie has finished among Yale's top two in goals and points each of the last three seasons. She leaves with multiple entries near the top of the school's career leaders lists -- she is tied for eighth in career points with 74, is ninth in career assists with 20 and is ninth in career goals with 27.

A history major in Pierson College, Condie is a graduate of Mary Institute and St. Louis Country Day School and played for AIM Field Hockey Club. She was a member of USA Field Hockey's U17 National Team in 2014-15.

Yale has now had 21 All-Region selections in Pam Stuper's 15 seasons as the team's Caroline Ruth Thompson '02 Head Coach of Field Hockey.
