Yale-Providence Tuesday at 5:00 p.m.

NEW HAVEN, Conn. – The Yale women's basketball team hosts Providence Tuesday (5:00 p.m., ESPN+) in the resumption of a game that began Nov. 5 and was suspended at halftime due to a scoreboard issue. The game will resume at the start of the third quarter with Providence leading 42-33.

Last Game
Yale (5-2, 0-0 Ivy League) beat Loyola Marymount 81-65 Saturday in the final game of LMU's Thanksgiving Classic. The Bulldogs scored the first six points of the game and never trailed, building a lead as large as 20 in the fourth quarter. Junior guard Ellen Margaret Andrews (Dallas, Texas) led Yale with 22 points, adding three steals.  The Bulldogs shot .840 (21 for 25) from the free throw line, their second-best performance of the season.

The format of the Classic was such that all matchups were pre-determined and there was no "champion". Still, the Bulldogs wound up as the only team to win both games at the tournament. Fresno State beat Georgetown (who beat LMU Friday) in the earlier game Saturday.

Emsbo Earns Ivy Honor
After earning MVP honors and helping Yale to two wins at LMU's Thanksgiving Classic this past weekend, forward Camilla Emsbo (Lakewood, Colo.) of the Yale women's basketball team has been named Ivy League Player of the Week. The league announced the award on Monday.

Emsbo tied her career high with 26 points and set her career high with 17 rebounds in Friday's 87-67 win vs. Fresno State in the first game of LMU's Thanksgiving Classic. That was her fourth double-double of the season, more than any other Ivy Leaguer.

Emsbo followed that up with 15 points and five rebounds in Saturday's 81-65 win vs. LMU. She also had 13 points and six rebounds in Yale's game at No. 11 UCLA Tuesday.

Barahman Stars in Return Home
Senior guard Roxy Barahman (Calabasas, Calif.) was named to the All-Tournament Team at LMU's Thanksgiving Classic, capping a memorable return home for her. Playing just 30 miles from her hometown, Barahman averaged 15.7 points per game and 4.0 assists per game in the Bulldogs' three games in Los Angeles.

Home Stretch
After playing five games on the road in 10 days, and six straight road games that entailed a total of approximately 6,600 miles of travel, Yale now gets to enjoy a stretch at home. Five of the Bulldogs' next six games are at Lee Amphitheater, where they have gone 41-21 since the start of the 2014-15 season.

Scouting Providence
Providence (5-0, 0-0 Big East) has won all its games by at least nine points this season and is coming off a 63-38 win vs. UMass Lowell. The Friars are averaging more than 70 points per game and are shooting better than 47 percent from the field. They average nearly 16 assists per game.

The Yale-Providence Game So Far
When Tuesday's game began on Nov. 5, Providence outscored the Bulldogs 20-16 in the first quarter and 22-17 in the second quarter to take a 42-33 lead into halftime. Forward Mary Baskerville and guard Kaela Webb had a team-high 12 points each for the Friars. Junior forward Alex Cade (Shaker Heights, Ohio) also scored 12, leading the Bulldogs. First year guard Jenna Clark (Pittsburgh, Pa.) led the Bulldogs with six rebounds.
