Bulldogs Win at Brown

Yale Opens Ivy Play

PROVIDENCE, RI. - On Wednesday, the Bulldogs defeated Brown by a margin of 8-1 in their first Ivy League match of the season.

The top of the ladder emerged dominant, with Lucy Beecroft '20, Helen Teegan '20, and Elisabeth Ross '23 all winning in three games. Brianna Jefferson '23 lost a close five gamer at position number four. The team's depth was evident as Yale lost only two games in the bottom five matches.

"The Yale Women played a solid and consistent match across the board," Coach Dave Talbott said. "We competed well and hopefully build for a very tough match against Drexel this weekend."

The Elis (3-0, 1-0 IVY) next travel to Philadelphia to face Drexel on Saturday at noon.
