Gill Advances to B-Division Finals in CSAs

First Career Finals Appearance for Gill

PROVIDENCE, R.I. — Spencer Lovejoy, Nadav Raziel and Harrison Gill all played in the Semi-Final round of the CSA Singles Championships on Saturday at Brown University. Lovejoy competed in the A-Division, Raziel in the B-Division West and Gill in the B-Division South.

Raziel fell in four games (11-4, 8-11, 11-8, 11-3) to Rochester's Matthew Toth.

After being the first Bulldog to make it to the A-Division Semi-Finals in 16 years, Lovejoy fell to Harvard's Victor Crouin in three games (11-3, 11-4, 11-5). Crouin, who is a first-year, is arguably the best player in all of collegiate men's squash right now.

Gill was the only Yale athlete to win on the afternoon, defeating Navy's Jonathan Lentz in three (11-3, 11-5, 11-7) and advancing to the finals for the first time in his career. Gill will face St. Lawrence's Enzo Corigliano, who is No. 14 in the nation.

The finals will be streamed live here.
