NEW HAVEN, Conn. –
The Ivy League announced that the 2019 Ivy League Football Media Day will be broadcast live on ESPN+ from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Thursday, August 15.

The special session, held in conjunction with the yearlong celebration of college football's 150th anniversary (CFB150), will be broadcast from a television studio at ESPN headquarters in Bristol, Conn.

The event will include discussions of ESPN and the Ivy League's respective plans surrounding CFB150 and ESPN+, the subscription platform that is home to more than 1,100 Ivy League events annually, in addition to traditional press conferences with each of the League's head coaches and two student-athletes from each Ivy League program.

Yale was named the League favorite in the 2019 Ivy League Football Preseason Media Poll and looks to unseat a Princeton squad that posted an unbeaten 2018 campaign—the 13th in League history.

The 2019 Ivy League football season kicks off on Saturday, Sept. 21, with seven games to appear on ESPN linear networks throughout the season. The Ivy League is coming off a 2018 campaign in which it led the FCS in non-conference winning percentage (.750) and NFL representation (24 players) for the second-straight season.
