LOS ANGELES -- The Bulldogs wrapped up their West Coast trip with a win.

Izzy Simqu blasted 10 kills and three blocks and Kathryn Attar added nine kills and four aces to lead Yale to a 3-0 win over Howard on Saturday at the Galen Center.  The victory marked the Bulldogs' first of the season.

Rebekah Nemeth, who averaged 3.40 kills over the three matches this weekend, was named to the all-tournament team.

The scores of the match were 25-17, 25-22 and 25-20.

Attar started a rally of seven straight points in the first set with a kill and two straight aces.  By the end of the spurt, Yale led 23-15 en route to a first set victory.
