NEW HAVEN, Conn. - Coming into Sunday in second place behind Minnesota, the Yale men's golf team carded a 292 in the third and final round to finish third as a team at the Bulldogs' annual fall invitational.
The Golden Gophers won the event with a 10-under, 830 while Princeton took second with a 14-over, 854. The Elis carded an 860 to finish third out of the 12-team field which also included Pennsylvania, Harvard and Brown.
On the individual leader board, junior and captain
Teddy Zinsner tied for fifth overall with a one-over, 211 at The Course at Yale while first-year
Gabriel Ruiz tied for 25th with a 220.
Nine different Bulldogs competed this weekend including three who played as individuals in the play six, count four tournament.
