PRINCETON, N.J. – The Ivy League has announced its year-end awards, with three members of the Yale men's golf team earning recognition.
Will Lodge was named First Team All-Ivy following his senior campaign. It marks the second year-end honor of his career after earning Second Team recognition as a junior. The team captain competed in all five tournaments this spring, recording three top-10 finishes.
After placing 18th at the 2025 Ivy League Championship, Lodge climbed into the top 10 in his final appearance, tying for ninth with a 224 (+8). He also tied for 10th at the Princeton Invitational with a 215 and added another top-10 finish at the Schenkel Invitational, where he placed tied for seventh. Lodge opened the Schenkel with a 70 (-2), followed with a 73 (+1), and closed with a 66 (-6). His final round matched a career low and marked his best round relative to par.
Matthew Lin earned Second Team All-Ivy honors following his sophomore season, marking the first year-end recognition of his career. Lin led Yale at the Schenkel Invitational, earning co-medalist honors and subsequently being named Ivy League Golfer of the Month for March.
Lin opened the tournament with a 68 (-4) to sit tied for second and followed with a career-low 66 (-6) to maintain his position. He closed with a 69 (-3) to finish at 203 (-13) for the tournament. Lin led the field with 19 birdies and posted a par-4 scoring mark of eight-under.
Senior
Sam Davis, who competed in all five tournaments this spring, earned Academic All-Ivy honors. The Jacksonville, Fla., native is an economics major.
