SPRINGFIELD, N.J. – The Yale men's and women's golf teams are set to compete at the 2026 Ivy League Championship, hosted at Baltusrol Golf Club. The Bulldogs will begin play on Friday, April 24, with the tournament concluding on Sunday, April 27.
The Lineups
Women's
Competing for Yale are Mia Sessa, Anya Mathur, Lydia Portlock, Ashley Yen, Emma Lee, and Katie Ha.
Men's
Representing the Bulldogs are Will Lodge, Sam Davis, Colin Li, Matthew Lin, and Preston Howe.
About the Course
- Baltusrol Golf Club is located in northern New Jersey, just outside of New York City.
- The club was established in 1895 and has a long history of hosting competitive golf.
- It features two 18-hole courses, the Lower and Upper, both designed by A.W. Tillinghast.
- Baltusrol has served as the site of several national championships, including U.S. Opens, U.S. Women's Opens, and PGA Championships.
- Most recently, it hosted the 2023 Women's PGA Championship.
- In 2014, Baltusrol was designated a National Historic Landmark in recognition of its role in golf course design and its association with Tillinghast.
About the Tournament
The men will tee off at 7:30 a.m. each day, followed by the women at 10:30 a.m., with groups starting at 10-minute intervals.
Recapping the 2025 Women's Championship
- Yale posted a three-round total of 892 (300-292-300) to finish in a tie for fifth place.
- Katie Ha finished seventh individually with a 221 (74-73-74) in her Ivy Championship debut.
- Alexis Kim and Mia Sessa tied for 10th at 223. Kim recorded rounds of 77-72-74, while Sessa posted 74-72-77.
- Additional contributors included Joanne Lee (25th), Ellie Koo (30th), and Selena Tang (31st).
Recapping the 2025 Men's Championship
- Yale placed fifth overall with a team score of 590 (293-297).
- Princeton, Columbia, Harvard, and Cornell finished in the top four positions.
- Ben Carpenter led Yale with a seventh-place finish at 142 (70-72).
- Blake Brantley tied for 15th at 148 (79-69), highlighted by a strong second round.
- Will Lodge tied for 18th with a 149 (71-78).
