On Saturday, the #6 ranked Bulldogs (7-1, 3-0 IVY) defeated #15 ranked St. Lawrence University by a margin of 7-2.

Spencer Lovejoy '20 and Yee Xian Siow '23 posted notable wins at the #1 and #2 spots respectively

"The Yale Men took care of business up at St. Lawrence against a team that is rebuilding and has some very tough players up top," Coach Dave Talbott said. "Lovejoy played at a very high level to win at no. 1, and Siow played his strongest match of the year at no. 2 to win in three games."

The Elis face #7 ranked Rochester at 12:00pm today.

"The team have to play a very tough team on the road," Talbott said. "Our men will have to really step up as we will be playing without two of our top players, but it is a good opportunity for a couple of our other guys to shine."

In the 2018-2019 season, the team lost to Rochester by a 3-6 margin.
