The Bulldogs (8-1, 2-1 Ivy) took down No. 2 ranked Trinity for the first time since 2011, ending the Bantam's unbeaten record this season.
"The Yale Women stepped up big time tonight to get the win over Trinity," Brooks G. Ragen Director of Squash
Dave Talbott said. "It all came together tonight with huge wins at the top and three at the bottom with all the women playing their best squash of the year."
With the match tied 4-4 and all her teammates in the stands,
Helen Teegan '20 clinched the match with a five-game victory at the No. 2 position.
"It is a great win for our confidence as we look for an important victory over Stanford on Saturday," Talbott continued. "Our coaches, Lynn and Tim, have been working really hard with the team, and they have made a huge difference."
The Elis will next host Stanford on Saturday at noon.
