PHILADELPHIA, Pa. –
Lucy Beecroft, captain of the Yale Squash team and the No. 3 seed at the CSA Individual Championships, highlighted a busy day for the Bulldogs at the national tournament.
Beecroft, Yale's only entry in the A Draw on the new courts of the Penn Squash Center, registered her school's first win of the day by sweeping Emma Jinks of Virginia, 11-9, 11-6 and 11-3. However, she than collided with Harvard's Hanna Moataz, and the No. 5 seed pulled off the upset.
