Play is under way at the ITA Northeast Regionals at Penn, and Shervin Dehmoubed has earned a spot in the main singles draw. Dehmoubed won a pair of matches in straight sets in the qualifying round to advance.
 
In his first match, Dehmoubed defeated Merrimack's Jonathan Garcia 6-4, 6-2, and in his second match, he cruised to a 6-1, 6-4 victory over St. Johns' Charlie James.
 
Luke Neal won his first match but lost in the next round. Arnav Dhingra and Walker Oberg both fell in their first matches.
 
The singles main draw starts on Friday. Both Theo Dean and Michael Sun have first round byes.
 
Aidan Reilly and Renaud Lefevre will be in action in the singles draw on Friday.

Yale also has three doubles teams entered - Sun and Dean, Lefevre and Neal and Reilly and Oberg.
