Michael Sun's strong run at the ITA Northeast Regionals came to an end in the quarterfinals. Sun, who played two three-set matches on Sunday, fell to Columbia's Max Westphal 6-3, 6-0.
 
Westphal, a first year, is a member of the French Junior Davis Cup team and had career-high No. 24 Junior ITF world ranking.
 
Sun's road to the quarterfinal included a victory over Columbia's Alex Kotzen, the No. 2 seed.
 
Next up for the Bulldogs is the Harvard Invitational on Oct. 29-31.
