Mirabelle Brettkelly's first collegiate tournament was memorable. Brettkelly captured the Queens Flight at the Columbia Invitational, defeating Maryland's Selma Cadar in the final 7-5, 6-0.
 
Jessie Gong had advanced to the Manhattan Flight final but fell to Penn's Iulia Bryzgalova. The two split two sets, but Bryzgalova captured the deciding tiebreaker 10-3.
 
Also competing on Sunday was Caroline Dunleavy, who defeated Wisconsin's Taylor Cataldi in the consolation final of the Brooklyn Flight.
 
The tournament was held at the Billie Jean King National Training Center in Flushing Meadow, N.Y.
