CANTON, Mass. – It would be difficult to start a season better than the 2021-22 Yale Women's Golf Team did this week.
The Bulldogs led the entire way before taking the Boston College Invitational held at the Blue Hill Country Club yesterday and today. Yale's three-round total of 884 (+20) was three strokes better than the host Eagles. There were 15 schools competing on the par-72, 6,137-yard layout, and the Elis shot 289-300-295 over the two days.
Captain
Ami Gianchandani crafted a 73-68-75 (216) to win individual honors by four strokes over teammate
Alexis Kim (71-76-73, 220), who tied for second place.
Sophie Simon (224),
Coco Chai (226) and
Kaitlyn Lee (229) all finished among the top 13.
The Bulldogs have a quick turnaround and are back in action at the Princeton Invitational this weekend.
