Yale Finishes Four Better Than Michigan

NEW HAVEN, Conn. – The Yale Men's Golf Team won the 45th annual Macdonald Cup this weekend by shooting a six over par 846 (274-282-290), which was four strokes better than second-place Michigan.

Playing host on world-famous Yale Golf Course, the Bulldogs led the 14-team field the entire way, while three Eli players finished among the top six overall.

Blake Brantley (70-68-70) shot a two-under 208 to take fourth place on the individual leader board. Gabriel Ruiz and Teddy Zinsner tied each other for sixth place at 211, though Zinsner's 67 in round one on Saturday was a team-low for the tournament.

This is the sixth time in the last dozen Macdonald Cups that Yale has come out on top.
