PRINCETON, N.J. - Theodore Snyder is nominated for Ivy League Golfer of the Month after an outstanding September in which he competed in both of Yale's tournaments and helped lead the Bulldogs to a team title.
In his first collegiate event, Snyder captured the individual title at the Doc Gimmler Invitational, finishing atop the leaderboard at 7-under par. After opening with a 1-under first round, he surged in round two with three consecutive birdies to begin the day and carded a 6-under-par round. Snyder's individual victory helped Yale claim the team championship at the event.
Snyder followed with another top-four performance at the Macdonald Cup, tying for fourth in the weather-shortened event. His consistent play across both September tournaments established him as one of the Ivy League's top performers to open the season.
