NEW HAVEN, Conn. – It was a strong start to the spring season for the Yale women's tennis team. The Bulldogs cruised to a 6-1 victory over Boston University at the Cullman-Heyman Tennis Center.
Chelsea Kung, Caroline Dunleavy and
Mirabelle Brettkelly were all straight sets winners in singles for Yale. Kung was a 6-4, 6-0 victor over BU's Kaitlyn Tan at No. 1 singles.
In doubles, Kung and
Jessie Gong teamed up for a 6-2 victory, and
Rhea Shrivastava and Brettkelly were 6-1 winners.
The Bulldogs are right back at Cullman-Heyman on Sunday to host Quinnipiac at 1 p.m.
