NEW HAVEN, Conn. – The Yale women's tennis team completed a perfect opening weekend with a 7-0 victory over Quinnipiac at the Cullman-Heyman Tennis Center.
The Bulldogs, who beat Boston University 6-1 on Saturday, won five of the six singles matches in straight sets. At the No. 6 position,
Kathy Wang cruised to a 6-2,6-3 win over Andre Williams.
In doubles, Yale's No. 1 duo of
Chelsea Kung and
Jessie Gong easily won 6-2.
Next up for the Bulldogs is a trip to the Midwest to face Indiana on Feb. 4 and Notre Dame on Feb. 6.
