NEW HAVEN, Conn. — The No. 4 Bulldogs defeated the No. 11 Big Green this evening by a score of 9-0. Yale is now 8-1 on the season and 5-1 in Ivy play.
The Elis were dominant up and down the lineup, with eight of nine recording 3-0 sweeps.
No. 5 Jed Burde bested his opponent Christian Shah in a tight, five-game match. After handily winning the first two games of the match, Burde dropped games three and four before putting Shah away with 11-4 win in game five.
With another Ivy-league win under their belt, the Bulldogs now turn their attention to No. 2 Harvard, whom they will compete against on Sunday at 3 p.m. in Cambridge.
