PHILADELPHIA, Pa. – A pair of Bulldogs earned a spot in the ITA Super Regionals later this month by posting singles victories on the final day of the ITA Northeast Regionals at Penn.
Walker Oberg used a 7-6 (2), 6-1 victory over St. John's Axel Axel Vila Antuna to advance, while
Aidan Reilly needed three sets to qualify. Reilly dropped the first set to NJIT's Nejc Skorjanc but rallied to win the next two sets 6-0, 6-3.
Eric Li, Luke Neal and
Vignesh Gogineni also made it to the final day of the singles competition but dropped their final matches to just miss out.
Michael Sun and
Theo Dean had previously qualified for the Super Regionals in singles and will team up in doubles.
The Super Regionals are set for Oct. 21-24 at Harvard.
