Men's Golf Completes Play at Georgetown Intercollegiate

JERSEY CITY, N.J. – The Yale men's golf team finished fourth at the Georgetown Intercollegiate at Liberty National Golf Club.

Over two days and three rounds, the team shot 879 (293, 295, and 291), which put them in fourth behind Duke, Boston College, and Penn State.

The individual field of play was a tight race, but Blake Brantley fared well. Brantley shot 216 through the three rounds and finished in a three-way tie for seventh place with DJ Francey of Columbia and Patrick Sheehan of Penn State.

  • Gabriel Ruiz shot 218 and tied for 11th with Luke Sample of Duke.
  • Robert You finished in a five-way tie for 18th and shot 222.
  • Ben Carpenter finished in a five-way tie for 23rd and shot 223.
  • Will Lodge shot 241 and finished in a two-way tie for 58th.
