PHILADELPHIA, Pa. – It was another strong day for the Yale men's tennis team at the ITA Northeast Regionals at Penn. Five Bulldogs advanced in singles along with two doubles teams.
First year
Eric Li was the only Bulldogs to need three sets to move on. He dropped the first set to Drexel's Alex De sousa 7-5 but rallied to win the next two sets 6-3 and 6-4.
Walker Oberg, Aidan Reilly, Luke Neal and
Vignesh Gogineni were all straight sets winners.
In doubles,
Theo Dean and
Michael Sun were 8-4 winners, while Reilly and
Renaud Lefevre posted an 8-5 victory.
