Dillman Earns All-Region Honors

NEW HAVEN, Conn. – Senior midfielder Théodora Dillman (Lancaster, Pa.) of the Yale field hockey team has earned second team All-Mideast Region honors. The NFHCA announced the award Tuesday.

This is the first career all-region recognition for Dillman. In 17 games she tied for ninth in the Ivy League in goals (six) and tied for 17th in the league in points (13). She had the game-winning goals against Brown and Quinnipiac in overtime. She was a key part of Yale's penalty corner units and also helped Yale's defense hold eight opponents to one goal or less.

Dillman earned All-Ivy honors every year of her career. A first-team pick this season, she was a second-team selection in each of her first two seasons and an honorable mention pick in 2021. She started all 68 games of her career.

A three-time NFHCA All-Academic Squad honoree, Dillman is majoring in art and English. She is a graduate of Conestoga Valley. Her mother, Anne Lehman Dillman, is a 1993 Yale graduate and earned All-Ivy honors four times (first team three times, honorable mention once).

For All-Region awards, Division I teams are separated into five regions: Mid-Atlantic, Mideast, Northeast, South and West. Each region honors up to 16 student-athletes on a first team and up to 16 student-athletes on a second team. All-America honors will be announced in December.
