emotional 60-58 overtime win vs. Drexel on Sunday. With time running out and the game tied 58-58, sophomore guard
Nyla McGill (Charlotte, N.C.) grabbed a missed Bulldog three-point attempt out of the air and put it up and in for the dramatic victory. She finished with eight points, nine rebounds and five assists. First-year guard
Kiley Capstraw (West Orange, N.J.) led Yale with 18 points. The Bulldogs held Drexel to a .345 shooting percentage and enjoyed a 22-2 bench scoring advantage thanks in large part to 11 points from junior guard

Sunday marked the fifth time this season Yale's bench has outscored the opposing team's bench by at least 20 points. For the season Yale's bench has outscored the opposing team's bench by a total of 177 points, 259 to 82.
Capstraw Named Ivy League Rookie of the Week
First-year guard
Kiley Capstraw (West Orange, N.J.) was
named Ivy League Rookie of the Week on Monday. After scoring 18 points in the win vs. Drexel Sunday she is now Yale's leading scorer, averaging 11.3 points per game. For the week she totaled 28 points in two games. She shot 9-for-17 from the field (.529), including three three-pointers, and hit all seven of her free throw attempts. Capstraw has scored in double digits in five of Yale's last six games. She leads all Ivy League first years in scoring, and is the only first year in the league who is leading her team in scoring.
Sabol Rises in the Rotation
Junior forward
Haley Sabol (Pittsburgh, Pa.) played a career-high 37 minutes Sunday in the 60-58 overtime win vs. Drexel. She is now averaging 12.9 minutes per game this season, more than double what she averaged last year (5.6 minutes per game). Her rebounds per game have also more than doubled, to 1.5 from 0.6.

Clark Among Ivy League Leaders
Junior guard
Jenna Clark (Pittsburgh, Pa.) ranks second in the Ivy League in assists per game (4.8), fourth in minutes per game (34.98) and fifth in steals per game (2.18). Clark is on the
Watch List for the Nancy Lieberman Award as the top point guard in the country.
Break Time
After Tuesday's game, Yale will have seven days off before hosting Lehigh Wednesday Dec. 21. After the Lehigh game the Bulldogs will have nine days without a game before hosting Columbia Saturday Dec. 31 for the start of Ivy League play.

BU (5-4, 0-0 Patriot League) has dropped two of its last three in the wake of a four-game winning streak. The Terriers are in their second season under head coach Melissa (D'Amico) Graves, who was an assistant at Yale from 2015 to 2018 and helped the Bulldogs win the 2018 WBI Championship.
