NEW HAVEN, Conn. -- The Yale gymnastics team swept all events last Sunday at the Tonry Invitational, dedicated to both Barbara and Don Tonry. The meet was highlighted by the second-best bars score (49.050) in school history. The Bulldogs bring that momentum into their meet vs. Temple at McGonigle Hall on Friday, their first road meet in nearly three weeks.
Yale enters the weekend with the third-best average score among GEC teams (192.863), trailing Penn (194.067) and West Chester (192.867). The Bulldogs have scored 194+ twice in their last three meets.

Raegan Walker, Sherry Wang, Kendal Toy and
Lindsay Chia won events Sunday.
Sarah Wilson won the All-Around (38.450) while Chia (38.025) placed third. Toy won an astounding three events: the bars (9.85), beam (9.825) and floor (9.775). She was
named GEC Gymnast of the Week for her efforts. Walker won two events: the vault (9.775) and the beam (9.825). Chia was also victorious on floor (9.775) and Wang also won bars (9.85).

The Bulldogs will go against Temple, who recently fell to No. 26 North Carolina despite a score of 195.425. Hannah Stallings (39.000) placed third on the all-around.
