RICHMOND HILL, Ga. – The Yale Women's Golf Team won today's Ford Invitational and had the top five finishers in the process. The Bulldogs came in at 585, followed by Columbia (607) and Dartmouth (638).
The 36-hole, stroke-play tournament at Ford Field & River Club was also slated to include Monmouth, but it had to pull out at the last minute.
Captain
Ami Gianchandani was Yale's top finisher with a 144 after shooting a 69, the best round of the day, and then a 75 in the afternoon.
Fellow junior
Coco Chai had rounds of 72 and 75, while
Kaitlyn Lee (74-75),
Alexis Kim (75-73) and
Ashley Au (73-74) also had good days for the Bulldogs.
The Elis are next in action on March 19-20 for the Low Country Intercollegiate on Hilton Head Island (Moss Creek Golf Course) in South Carolina.
