BERKELEY, Calif. – The Yale men's tennis team dropped a heartbreaker at Cal, falling 4-3 to the Bears.
The Bulldogs captured the doubles point thanks to victories from the duos of
Theo Dean and
Aidan Reilly and
Walker Oberg and
Michael Sun.
Yale got singles victories from
Aidan Reilly at No. 5 and
Luke Neal at No. 6.
There was a large contingent of Yale fans on hand cheering on the Bulldogs despite the start of the match being delayed by rain.
Yale is at Saint Mary's on Sunday at 5 p.m. EDT.
