PRINCETON, N.J. – A pair of relay events kicked off the 2023 Ivy League Women's Swimming & Diving Championships at DeNunzio Pool on Wednesday night.
Yale finished a strong second in the 200 medley relay.
Lindsey Wagner, Jessey Li, Alex Massey and
Ophelia Pilkinton posted a time of 1:37.36. Princeton won with an Ivy League record time of 1:36.89.
In the 800 freestyle relay, Yale's
Vivian Weng, Caroline McCurdy, Raime Jones and
Lilly Derivaux finished fifth in 7:12.29.
After two events, Princeton has an early lead with 128 points. Harvard is second with 108 points, while the Bulldogs and Brown are tied for third with 106 points.
The meet continues on Thursday with the heats at 11 a.m. and the finals at 6 p.m.
