The Bulldogs are set to face Fairfield University in a mid-week, non-conference bout at 5K Corral Field. The Stags visit New Haven for the first time since the 2019 season.
Scouting the Bulldogs
- Yale is 8-14 overall and 2-4 in the Ivy League.
- Willa Ferrer still leads the Bulldogs in batting average (.368), hits with 21, and home runs with three.
- Lauren Perren has been a solid contributor on offense for Yale. The sophomore leads the team in RBI with 17, which is also the most in the Ivy.
- The Bulldogs occupy the top two spots in the Ivy League for walks as Carolyn Skotz has a league-high 19 walks, while Lauren Perren has 11.
- Skotz has six games this season where she has snagged multiple walks in a single game.
- Skotz and Sam Goodcase are riding four-game hitting streaks.

- Delaney Whieldon, Megan Forbes, and Haley Updegraff have been mainstays for the Stags so far this season.
- Whieldon has a .342 batting average, a team-high .458 slugging percentage, and notched 13 hits at the plate.
- Forbes started all 16 games for the Stags and has 14 hits, seven of those for extra bases, and a team-high seven RBI.
- Updegraff has crossed the plate 13 times this season and picked up five RBI.
- Allie Bridgman has seen the most time in the circle with 38.2 innings pitched and seven starts.
Ivy League Honors
- Libby Peoples was lauded as the Ivy League Rookie of the Week for her string of performances in a five-game set against Boston University and Columbia.
- Peoples slashed a line of .467/.569/.800. In her seven hits, she recorded two doubles and notched her first collegiate home run. Additionally, she picked up three RBI and scored three runs.
- Sam Goodcase and Carolyn Skotz were named to the honor roll for their performances.
