NEW HAVEN, Conn. – Laura Ricciardone, Head Coach of Softball, has announced the addition of Kendall Winn and Nicole Lioumis to her coaching staff.
"I'm thrilled to add Kendall and Nicole to the staff," said Ricciardone. "Both have shown great enthusiasm and energy throughout the hiring process and are eager to get to New Haven. Kendall brings versatility and a strong commitment to player development. Nicole brings tremendous enthusiasm, perspective and selflessness as she looks to help Yale Softball grow while pursuing her graduate studies. The women in our program will benefit greatly from them!"
Winn joins the Bulldogs from the University of New Haven, where she served as a graduate assistant while working toward her MBA.
"I'm incredibly grateful for the opportunity to join Yale Softball," said Winn. "I'm excited to learn from an outstanding staff, support the development of our student-athletes and contribute in any way I can to help the program continue to grow and compete at a high level."
Winn graduated from Adelphi University in 2024, where she was a four-year contributor for the Panthers. At Adelphi, Winn earned:

- NE10 All-Conference Third Team (2022 – Third Base)

Lioumis joins the Bulldogs after completing her undergraduate degree in biology at Bucknell University, where she was a four-year contributor in the infield for the Bison.
"I am so excited to join the Yale softball family," said Lioumis. "Getting to help coach these incredible student-athletes while pursuing my master's degree at YSN is truly the best of both worlds. I can't wait to hit the field, bring great energy and help YSB toward an Ivy League championship!"
While at Bucknell, Lioumis served as an anatomy and physiology teaching assistant, neurobiology research assistant, vice president of standards for the Alpha Chi Omega chapter, CAS mentor, president of the Pre-Physician Assistant and Nurse Practitioner Club, and a member of the Pre-Health Society.
A native of Downingtown, Pa., Lioumis will begin work toward her master's degree in nursing at the Yale School of Nursing this fall.
