The Yale men's golf team is set to compete at the Columbia Spring Invitational. This will be the first time that the team competes at this event. 

About the Tournament
The tournament will be a one day, 36-hole event that will feature 13 teams in total and 90 competitors. Each team will have six players competing, while the tournament will feature an individual's division of play. The five bests scores from each team in each respective round will count towards the team's overall score. Teams will begin at a shotgun start at 9 a.m. on Monday morning.
 
Teams Competing
Yale will be joined by fellow Ivy Leaguers in Columbia, Harvard, and Penn. Among the other schools competing are Navy, Bryant, La Salle, Lafayette, Rider, Saint Joseph's (Pa.), Wagner, Lehigh, and St. Peter's University.

Bulldogs Competing
Teeing off for Yale will be Sho Wai Wu, Gabriel Ruiz, Ben Carpenter, Blake Brantley, Robert You, and Will Lodge. Sam Davis will be competing as well as an individual.

About the Course
The William Flynn-designed course established in 1926 is a nationally recognized club. The course is a par 70 at 6,789 yards. It was home to two USGA national championships, the 1976 US Women's Open and the 2016 US Women's Amateur.
