About the Course
The Metropolis Country Club has often been described by industry professionals as a "hidden gem," Metropolis traces its roots to Herbert Strong's original 1904 design, later enhanced by A.W. Tillinghast in the 1920s. While subtle alterations over time shifted the course away from its original vision, a comprehensive restoration led by architect Ron Forse in 2013 returned Metropolis to its classic character. The course stretches 6,878 yards and is a par 70.
Â
The Field
The 15-team field includes the host Lions, Bryant, Connecticut, Dartmouth, FDU, Fordham, Holy Cross, Iona, Lafayette, North Dakota State, Richmond, Siena, St. John's, Towson and Yale. There are 84 individual competitors.
