EAST HAMPTON, N.Y. – The Yale men's golf team concluded play at the Hamptons Intercollegiate, hosted by Loyola Maryland at the Maidstone Club.
The Results
- Senior captain Will Lodge delivered a standout performance over the three-round, two-day event. After finishing round one tied for 12th, Lodge climbed the leaderboard, moving up to sixth after round two and closing the tournament in a tie for second.
- Lodge shot an even-par 72 in the opening round, followed by a three-under 69 in round two, and another even 72 in the final round — carding a 213 (three-under par) for his runner-up finish.
- As a team, the Bulldogs placed seventh in a highly competitive 11-team field featuring No. 3 Ole Miss, No. 15 Florida State, No. 21 Georgia, No. 25 Wake Forest, and Stanford (RV)
- Georgia claimed both the individual and team titles, followed by Wake Forest, Ole Miss, and Stanford. Princeton and Florida State tied for fifth, while Yale rounded out the top seven.
