18-6 win at Brown Saturday, sophomore attacker
Jenna Collignon (Hinsdale, Ill.) has been named Ivy League Offensive Player of the Week. The league announced the award on Monday. This is the fourth time this season she has won that award.
Collignon had four goals and three assists in the decisive win at Brown – the 12 goal margin represented Yale's largest margin of victory in an Ivy League game since beating Columbia 18-3 Apr. 14, 2003. She extended her point-scoring streak to 17 games.
Collignon has been
named to the Tewaaraton Award Women's Watch List and was chosen as an
Honorable Mention ILWomen Midseason All-American. She leads the Ivy League in goals (35) and points (39). She is a graduate of Hinsdale Central, where she was a two-time USA Lacrosse All-American.
Yale (8-2, 3-0 Ivy League) visits Army Tuesday at 6:00 p.m.
