Chris Ward taking fourth in the shot put (16.79m). The throws squad added a sixth-place finish by first year
Nolan Recker in the discus (49.00m).
Five Bulldogs competed in the 1500m, where first year
Owen Karas (3:44.41, a new PR) was one of five runners to break the meet record (3:44.42 by Joel Hubbard in 2017). In addition to Karas' fifth-place finish, junior
Liam Garrett (3:45.95, also a new PR) placed seventh. Sophomores
Austin Montini,
Calvin Katz and
Elon Abergel rounded out the Yale group, placing 13th, 15th and 17th respectively.
In the 800m, junior
Thomas Cirrito (1:51.13) placed seventh.
The Bulldogs will return to action Saturday, hosting the Last Chance Meet.
