Three Bulldogs Earn CRCA Pocock All-America Honors

Hedeman, Levy, Wall helped lead varsity eight to sixth-place national finish

NEW HAVEN, Conn. – The Yale varsity eight was once again one of the fastest women's crews in the nation, and three rowers who helped lead the way have been recognized. Margaret Hedeman, Mia Levy and Veronica Wall each were named CRCA Pocock All-Americans. Hedeman was selected to the first team, while Levy and Wall each earned second team honors.

The Bulldogs' first varsity placed sixth in the grand final at the NCAA Championships after posting a dominant 15-2 record in the regular season. Hedeman sat in the No. 3 seat, Levy was No. 4 and Wall served as the stroke at NCAAs.

All three also were honored by the Ivy League earlier this spring. Hedeman was a first team selection, while Levy and Wall were named to the second team.

As a team, Yale placed fifth at the NCAA Championship for the second straight year. It was the seventh top-five finish and 18th top-10 finish all-time for the Bulldogs.
