Amegadjie Named Stats Perform Preseason All-American

Another honor for talented offensive lineman

Kiran Amegadjie
NEW HAVEN, Conn. – The preseason honors continue to come in for Yale offensive lineman Kiran Amegadjie, who has been named to the 2023 Stats Perform FCS Preseason All-America team.

Previously, Amegadjie was selected as the Ivy League Preseason Offensive Player of the Year and a first team FCS All-American by Phil Steele.

Last fall, Amegadjie earned first team All-Ivy recognition after starting all 10 games and helping anchor a line that allowed Yale to lead the league in rushing and total offense. In his first season in 2021, he earned honorable mention All-Ivy recognition and received the team's Charles Loftus Award as the most valuable first year player.

The Bulldogs, the defending Ivy League champions, open the season on Sept. 16 against Holy Cross at Yale Bowl, Class of 1954 Field.
