ATLANTA, Ga. - Four victories over Southeastern Conference opponents highlighted day one action for the Yale University men's tennis team at the Georgia Tech Fall Invitational.

Singles Results

• Vignesh Gogineni claimed a 6-3, 6-2 win over Alabama's Andrii Zimnokh.
• Jim Ji also captured a victory over a member of the Crimson Tide with a 6-4, 6-4 straight set win over Zach Foster.
• Jason Shuler also collected a win over a SEC opponent with a 6-3, 6-4 victory over Benjamin Martin of Ole Miss.
• Eric Li was defeated by Gianluca Carlini of Georgia Tech by scores of 7-6 (7-1), 6-1.

Doubles Results

• Li and Ji registered an 8-3 win over Alabama's duo of Zimnokh and Foster.
• Gogineni and Shuler lost 8-7 (11-9) to Georgia Tech's Carlini and Christophe Clement 

The Bulldogs return to action for day two of the Georgia Tech Fall Invitational on Saturday.
